Million black keys click

embossed with small white letters

their words are not clean.

Shiny whiteboards glare

Striped with tape they glower

And tell us to work.

Tiny desks close in

cubicles gray, green and brown

keeping us on task.

Styrofoam cups steam

their contents a small release,

that never lasts long.

Monitors sunny

blast away the daily rise.

Replaced with logos.

Cheap pens, business pants

pink paper pads a phone and

me, another tool.
